Kaho Na Pyaar Hai (2000)

Directed by Rakesh Roshan, Shahrukh Khan was the primary choice for the role of Rohit who was the protagonist. But soon, when SRK rejected this role Rakesh decided to launch his own son Hrithik Roshan for the lead role.

Lagaan (2001)

Lagaan was initially offered to Aamir Khan but he rejected it because he didn’t want to supply the film.
